Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. in Metairie, LA seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent four years of Electrical Design Experience to design shipboard electrical systems including power distribution, automation, control systems and electronics.

You will perform engineering design, oversee manufacture, construction and installation, and coordinate with subsystem manufacturers to ensure proper interfaces and successful testing.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent four years Electrical Design Experience.

Responsibilities

• Integration and development of calculations, system level diagrams, I/O schedules, functional design diagrams, and termination drawings; support all production and testing activities.
• Coordinate and integrate with primary system and multiple subsystems manufacturers to ensure proper interfaces among all systems.
