Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking an Associate Regional Field Operations Manager to guide and support field operations for the Midwest region. You will lead service and repair teams, ensure high-quality performance, and drive process improvements across a wide geographic area.

The role requires strong leadership, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Travel up to 50% is expected, with a comprehensive benefits package and a long-term contract

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years elevator industry experience.
• Management experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal and external customers.
• Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Comfortable in a technical environment using Microsoft-based software.
• Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve all critical customer issues.
• Advocate for usage of digital tools and applications for service colleagues.
• Lead process workshops and ensure adherence to service processes.

• Consult with service managers regarding problems encountered with service performance.
• Assess improvement opportunity patterns and determine solutions to complete projects on time.

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Associate Regional Field Operations Manager to provide direction, support, and leadership for all field operations within the Midwest operating area.

On a typical day you will:

• Provide on-going training, development, and leadership to the service and repair colleagues
• Responsible for the quality of all service and repair field operations for the operating area; inclusive of ensuring we have the appropriate allocation of resources to meet our customers needs
• Investigate and resolve all critical customer issues
• Advocate for usage of digital tools and applications for our service colleagues
• Lead process workshops and ensure strict adherence to service processes
• Monitor field tests as well as first inspection and data reports
• Consult with service managers regarding problems encountered with service performance
• Assess improvement opportunity patterns and determine solutions to ensure service projects are completed to satisfaction and within reasonable timeframe

What you will need to be successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years elevator industry experience required
• Management experience required
• Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
• Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
• Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
• Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
• Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills

Travel:

This position requires travel within the OA- up to 50% or on an as needed basis.

The salary range for this role is $130,000-$165,000 base. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
