Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with cybersecurity focus preferred.
• No working experience required; up to one year IT experience helps.
• Alternative: Associate's degree in CS/IS with cybersecurity focus and 1 year experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Meet with users, vendors and IS staff to develop/modify system specs.
• Assist security solution implementations and prepare documentation.
• Research and resolve security-related tickets.
• Adhere to UHS Project Management standards.
• Ensure work plans are followed and report deviations.
• Assist with user training on security solutions.
• Monitor security alerts and dashboards daily.
• Perform initial triage and severity of security events.
• Provide on-call support as scheduled.
• Establish and maintain communications with user community.
