Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and defend against cybersecurity incidents such as credential theft, phishing attacks, domain abuse, social media impersonations, business email compromise (BEC) attacks, and other digital threats.
  • Monitor internal detection systems for new attacks and validate threats.
  • Respond to attack reports from clients and their customers.
  • Analyze attack vectors and explore resolution options.
  • Build relationships with partners and clients.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to protect and serve clients.
  • Utilize tools including DNS tools, WhoIs records, open-source tools, scripting (Bash, Go, Python), Linux, etc.
  • Work hours aligned with Eastern Standard Time.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education or experience in IT or cybersecurity preferred.
  • Knowledge of internet fundamentals: IP subnetting, DNS, zone files, TLDs, HTTP, SMTP.
  • Understanding of common internet attacks, fraud, social engineering, scams across channels.
  • Analytical skills for problem-solving.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and client-focused.
  • Ability to work remotely with team members.
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux command line.
