You’ll work alongside a collaborative team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

What you will do:

As the Associate Security Analyst, you will…

  • Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and other security tools to detect and respond to potential threats.
  • Help maintain and improve security documentation, including incident reports and standard operating procedures.
  • Support vulnerability management efforts by reviewing scan results and tracking remediation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Participate in threat research and stay informed about current cybersecurity trends and risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to support the implementation of security best practices.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and documentation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering Information Technology, System Analysis, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Typically, 1+ years of experience in IT/network security/cybersecurity.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, common threats, and cloud environments, including familiarity with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, and CIS
  • Experience with security tools and technologies, including:
    • Email Security (Proofpoint, Microsoft, Mimecast, etc) (preferred)
    • Endpoint Security (Crowdstrike, Microsoft MDE, etc)
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux systems, networking concepts, and cloud environments.
  • Exposure to SIEM tools, endpoint protection platforms, or vulnerability scanners.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
  • Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments. (preferred)
  • Experience in working in multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
  • Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.

Licenses and Certifications:

    • Information Security Certifications, e.g., CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CC (Certified in Cybersecurity), CompTIA CySA+ GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), etc. (preferred)
