Job summary

AbbVie in Barceloneta, PR seeks an entry-level scientist to support method troubleshooting and investigations in manufacturing and QA. You will write technical documentation, participate in tech transfer and validation projects, and help maintain SPC charts while ensuring GMP/GLP compliance.

The role requires a BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology, and English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Biotechnology).
• Less than two years of related experience typical.
• Fluent verbal and written English and Spanish.
• Experience in statistical and analytical data analysis, and in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform method troubleshooting.
• Conduct laboratory or manufacturing investigations and studies.
• Write technical documentation according to procedures.
• Participate in production, technology transfer, and/or validation projects.
• Maintain statistical control charts for monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP, EH&S policies and related procedures.
