  • Job Title: Associate Scientist
  • Location: USA
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: up to $58,000 to $102,000 per annum (based on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct analytical testing using established or experimental techniques, instrumentation, and test methods in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Apply critical thinking and root cause analysis methodologies to investigate field failures, determine root causes, and document findings per procedures.
  • Utilize software tools (Salesforce, MasterControl, Microsoft Office Suite) to manage and document investigations.
  • Assist in project execution, including protocol development, testing, and final report generation under guidance.
  • Demonstrate strong technical writing skills to clearly and concisely communicate findings.
  • Train and mentor new analysts as needed.
  • Develop innovative test methods and troubleshooting approaches to improve analytical processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging analytical techniques and technologies relevant to the field.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, work instructions, SOPs, qualification documents, and study plans/protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with internal QA procedures, including conducting lab investigations, OOS (Out-of-Specification), and OOT (Out-of-Trend) analyses as required.

Education requirement for Associate Scientist jobs

  • Required: High school diploma
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field

Work Experience

  • No prior experience required (0–3 years acceptable)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Support and contribute to Lean Sigma initiatives to achieve organizational targets.
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Particle testing (HIAC, isolation, filtration, microscopy)
  • Dimensional analysis (SmartScope, optical comparators)
  • Method development and validation expertise.
  • Eagerness to learn and implement new analytical techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to quickly adapt to new software.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines and apply safety standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant SOPs per company policy.
  • Commitment to compliance with safety and quality policies at all times.

Travel Requirements:
5% travel (up to 13 business days per year)
