Job summary

Eurofins USA Genomic Services in River Falls, WI is hiring an Agrigenomics Associate Scientist I to support sample prep, DNA extraction, genotyping, and NGS analytics for plant, animal, and human specimens. You will handle paperwork, sample prep, data analysis, and customer communication, while helping maintain ISO quality systems and equipment calibration.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with overtime as needed; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability, 401(k) with

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture or Laboratory Science is required; related fields may be considered.
• Ability to learn lab hardware and software; knowledge of ISO quality systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paperwork and samples (leaf, seed, and animal samples).
• Extract DNA and perform genotyping (microarray and NGS).
• Analyze data and communicate results to customers.
• Assist in training staff and maintaining ISO quality systems.
• Maintain equipment calibration and contribute to lab safety programs.
