Job summary

Provivi is seeking an Associate Scientist - Formulation in Santa Monica, CA to develop eco-friendly pheromone-based products for agriculture. You will design experimental plans, produce samples for lab and field tests, and write protocols and reports to support regulatory submissions.

The role requires a Master or PhD in polymer science or related field, 1–3 years of polymer processing lab experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master or PhD in polymer (science) engineering, physical chemistry, agricultural engineering, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of hands-on laboratory experience with polymer processing technology (extrusion, injection molding, blending).
• Experience with processing and analysis of biodegradable polymers.
• Ability to write clear scientific reports and communicate results to team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formulation development by designing experimental plans and carrying performance analyses.
• Produce formulation samples for lab and field tests of pheromone-based formulations.
• Prepare protocols, reports, and test methods; write SOPs and document results accurately.
• Provide technical data to support regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with formulation, leadership, and cross-functional teams to achieve milestones.
