Location: 100% on-site in Cambridge

Remote Flexibility: No; 100% Onsite

Contract Term: 6 months to start; 40 hours/week (potential to extend)

Experience required:

  • Background in immunology – especially in NK cell, TCR-T and CAR-T cell biology
  • This role will involve extensive lab work performing experiments related to building donor criteria for our Allogenic CAR-T program.

As an Immunologist, you will join our Cell Therapy group, leveraging top-notch CRISPR technology to advance cell-based therapies for autoimmune and Immuno-Oncology indications. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting experiments independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives
  • Establishing and performing in vitro/in vivo assays supporting NK cell, TCR-T, and CAR-T projects
  • Analyzing and interpreting results using technical and literature knowledge; communicating findings clearly within teams and externally

About You

If you are an Immunologist with a strong interest in genomic editing and cell therapy, our ideal candidate will have a M.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related field, with solid experience in NK cell, TCR-T, and CAR-T cell biology. We value team players eager to work in a motivated, energetic environment and encourage you to apply.

  • Strong team spirit and a can-do attitude are essential; you should thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Experience in isolating immune cells from leukopak using magnetic methods, in vitro culture of primary T cells, and performing assays such as T cell killing and cytokine profiling (ELISA or MSD) is required
  • Proficiency in multi-color FACS profiling, cell proliferation assays, Incucyte-based assays, and MLR assays is required; experience with cell metabolic assays (e.g., Seahorse Analyzer) is a plus
  • Experience with CRISPR gene editing, lentiviral transduction, and AAV insertion in primary T and NK cells
  • Experience with Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) for detailed protocol and data recording
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals is a plus

Meet your future team:

The Cell Therapy team is composed of bright, fun, and collaborative individuals passionate about advancing therapies for patients. The team offers exposure to cutting-edge gene and cell therapies, from CRISPR guides to patient support. Your future manager is the Senior Scientist, Cell Therapy. The team mainly works onsite in wet labs; therefore, local candidates or those willing to relocate to Cambridge, MA, are preferred. While wet-lab work is predominant, the team also fosters growth in scientific expertise and career development. Expect a fast-paced, exciting, and collaborative environment focused on skill-building and innovation.
