Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production floor schedules based on forecasts, inventory levels, yield, and capacity across production departments.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Monitor production attainment, inventory performance, and planning KPIs to support decisions.
• Serve as a key contact for internal/external customers, supporting communication and issue resolution.
• Respond to inquiries and coordinate requests to support interplant communication.
• Collaborate with supply chain partners and customers.
• Support warehouse and supply chain operations through process improvements and backup coverage.
• Work with Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage various areas.
• Manage SAP tasks (sales orders, inventory movements, materials management, goods issues).

Your tasks

Summary
Supply Chain Planner professional with experience in production planning, inventory management, demand and supply planning, SAP system transactions, and cross‑functional collaboration within manufacturing environments. Proven ability to develop production schedules, monitor KPIs, manage inventory movements, and support customer service activities while maintaining operational excellence. Strong background in coordinating with production, engineering, warehouse, and supply chain teams to improve efficiency, ensure material availability, and meet customer requirements. Recognized for strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments.
This role supports key areas within Exeter's supply chain department/ production, with a primary focus on planning/scheduling and customer service.

Planning/Scheduling

• Develop, and manage production floor schedules based on customer forecasts, inventory levels, yield performance, and overall capacity across various production departments
• Collaborate closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution
• Monitor production attainment, inventory performance, and key planning KPIs to support operational decision-making

Customer Service

• Serves as a key point of contact for internal and external customers, supporting effective communication and issue resolution
• Respond to inquiries and coordinate requests to support seamless interplant communication
• Demonstrates ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Collaborating with supply chain partners/customers

Additional Responsibilities

• Supports warehouse and supply chain operations through process improvements and backup coverage where needed
• Work closely with Supply Chain Manager and assist in overseeing and managing various areas
• Managing various SAP tasks (i.e., sales order entry, inventory movements, materials management, and goods issues)
