Job summary

IBM is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to develop SAP expertise while supporting clients across industries. You’ll work with experienced consultants to modernize procurement, inventory, fulfillment, and logistics through SAP-enabled solutions.

You’ll gain hands-on client experience, mentorship, and access to IBM SkillsBuild, certifications, and AI-enabled tools as you grow your consulting, analytical, and technology skills within a supportive IBM team.

Qualifications

• Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in related business field.
• Foundational understanding of supply chain concepts (procurement, inventory, logistics).
• Ability to analyze information, identify problems, and develop structured solutions.
• Exposure to supply chain, operations, data analysis, ERP, or related tech through coursework or internships.
• Interest in developing expertise in SAP, ERP, analytics, automation, and digital transformation.
• Understanding of how technology and AI can improve supply chain processes and decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate to both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Understand supply chain requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support SAP-related procurement, materials management, inventory, sales, and logistics processes.
• Assist with translating business requirements into SAP-enabled processes and solutions.
• Participate in SAP configuration, testing, data validation, and documentation under guidance.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Collaborate with SAP consultants and client stakeholders to build skills and solutions.
