Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking an Associate Sales Representative for the Central Valley California (Peripheral Vascular). You will support physician and staff education, assist in product evaluations, and contribute to driving sales in hospitals and cath labs. This role is field-based in Fresno with substantial travel.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in outside sales, a BA/BS, and completed in-house product training. Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in an outside sales role (medical-related fields preferred).
• BA or BS degree required.
• In-field sales training completed.
• Computer training/qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Representatives in marketing, promotion and sales of Peripheral Vascular products.
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on product use, functionality and updates; tailor messaging per customer.
• Direct product evaluations in OR and office settings; support trade shows, conventions and clinical meetings.
• Keep regional manager informed of territory progress regularly and communicate customer feedback.
• Resolve product issues for customers promptly and maintain sample inventory.
• Adhere to OR and OSHA guidelines during product evaluations; comply with GMP policies per FDA.

## Associate Sales Representative - Central Valley California - Peripheral VascularApplylocations: Fresno, Californiatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R570978Work Flexibility: Field-basedThe Associate Sales Rep works directly with a Sales Representative to help aid with the planning, directing and coordination of the selling, marketing and promotion of Stryker Peripheral Vascular products to physicians and customers, e.g. medical cath lab and other hospital staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Assists Sales Representatives in the marketing, promotion and sales of VTE products.• Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker PV products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.• Following extensive product training, the employee must be able to tailor Stryker PV’s promotional message based upon knowledge of the customer, advise on appropriate product selection, answer customer questions about product functionality and distinguish products from those of Stryker’s competitors. • Directs product evaluations in OR and office settings.• May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings.• Keeps regional manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis.• Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion.• Managing and maintaining a sample inventory of products.• Must understand and adhere to all OR and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting a product evaluation.• Must adhere rigidly to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA.• Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• 0-2 years in an outside sales position (medical-related fields is preferable).• B.A. or B.S. degree required.• Field sales training--In field training.• Successful completion of in-house product training program.• Computer training.
