Job description

Job Title: Associate Sales Manager I - Great Lakes/Chicago region

Location: This position is remote, based in the Chicago area.

What You’ll Do

  • Working knowledge of product portfolio and competitive vascular landscape.
  • Support account management in training, case coverage, relationship management, etc., for existing accounts and new account launches.
  • Meet sales objectives and metric targets on assigned geography on a quarterly basis.
  • Support new product launches to optimize product performance and drive adoption.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physician advocates within assigned accounts and support them with initial clinical knowledge of procedures and products.
  • Help drive depth and increased product utilization across our portfolio in existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with marketing to help with product collateral and programs as necessary.
  • Understand basic anatomy of vascular cases and articulate intricacies of complex cases.
  • Participate in account management activities such as inventory counts, product support, etc.
  • Coordinate and manage a call plan for the week/quarter together to support sales leaders.
  • Participate in broader project assignments outlined by sales management, including but not limited to communications, training, meeting leadership, marketing projects, etc.
  • Deliver sales presentations that focus on Imperative Care product features and benefits.
  • Conduct in-services and presentations to all support staff (including floor, RN’s and techs) and sign off physicians and staff once completely trained on product prep and deployment.
  • Assist in the management of complications with assigned accounts and determine resources needed to meet challenges, escalate where required.
  • Maintain and improve product technique optimization of all trained users at assigned accounts.
  • Update sales team members daily on competitive, clinical, and customer situations.
  • Complete administrative requirements (including expenses) in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of 1 year of sales experience in the medical device, vascular or pharmaceutical industries; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
  • Clinical background or strong sales skills and track record is ideal.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills; ability to adapt to changing work priorities.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to maintain strong working relationships while dealing with sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Excellent reading, verbal, and written communications skills; good arithmetic skills and strong attention to detail to maintain records and process reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Proven product knowledge in business area.
  • Valid driver's license.

Salary Range: $100,000 annually and eligible for variable compensation.
