Job Title: Associate Sales Manager

Location: Hybrid role, minimum of 2 days per week in office - based out of our midtown NYC office

Workweek schedule: 40 hours per week

Who You Will Report To: Sales Manager

What You Will Do:

The Associate Sales Manager will work closely with the Sales Manager to support current business accounts, and expanding business in the mass market, drugstore, and club channels.

There is opportunity to take on accounts over time, as our business expands, based on individual performance and the growth within the Sales area into additional distribution!

Responsibilities include:

  1. To act as a support to the Sales Manager (SM) through, and not limited to the following tasks:
  2. Samples: Ordering, mockups, sending out (using the specified customer directions), logging
  3. Overall management of this piece of the puzzle from start to finish based on direction from SM, includes updating logs and maintaining status in a shared space.
  4. Will be responsible for meeting all sample deadlines and reporting into the sales manager the status of samples being ordered, mocked up and sent out.
  5. Order Entry: Includes entering orders, sending confirmations, recording in the appropriate locations.
  6. Product data sheets and setup in Customer portals: Gather data to load product information accurately into customer portals.
  7. Presentations: Assist SM in pulling product details and images for presentations, as needed, for PowerPoint presentations
  8. NYO Meetings:
    1. Preparation: setup and cleanup of showroom for all NYC buyer meetings, including catering orders, samples, printouts, and pre-loading presentations to the screens when needed
    2. ASM will join these meetings in a support role, to help with the flow of meetings and take detailed notes.
  9. Out of Town Meetings
    1. Assist with product prep for meetings, including sending all samples and assisting with product presentation preparation.
    2. Post meeting follow up as advised by SM.
    3. Potential (not guaranteed) to travel with Sales Manager to meetings when support is needed.
  10. Ad hoc assignments as they come up!

  7. Someone who takes pride in their work and is dependable and consistent in their work quality!

What you Bring:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, business, or other related areas is preferred.
  2. Experience in wholesale and/or buying office ideal.
  3. True interest in sales, retail, and data
  4. Experience in licensed product highly preferred.
  5. Ability to learn and maneuver within various portals required to do the job is critical.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel (Pivots, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint, Outlook (Email, Scheduling)
  7. Knowledge of and passion for pop culture a definite plus
  8. Previous order entry experience a plus!
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
