We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Associate Retention Strategist to join our high-performing team. What You'll Do

As an Associate Retention Strategist, you’ll play a vital role in helping our clients elevate their retention marketing programs. You’ll work closely with senior strategists and cross-functional teams to execute best-in-class lifecycle strategies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support Lifecycle Marketing Strategists with the end-to-end execution of email, SMS, and referral campaigns.

  • Write detailed strategic briefs for campaigns that drive clarity and ensure high-quality execution.

  • Manage ESP (Email Service Provider) systems, ensuring clean data flow, list management, and campaign setup.

  • Coordinate across internal teams (designers, copywriters, strategists) and clients to ensure smooth collaboration and timely asset delivery.

  • Manage and deploy campaigns — from segmentation and QA to scheduling and launch — according to client content calendars.

  • Help organize and participate in client meetings, providing progress updates, insights, and strategic input.

  • Build and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports with data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Own campaign calendars and workflows, ensuring deliverables are approved, revised, and launched on time and to the highest standards.

What You Bring
  • Experience: 2+ years hands-on experience with email and SMS marketing production, ideally in an agency or ecommerce-focused environment.

  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of ESPs such as Klaviyo, Customer.io, Sendlane, Braze, Attentive, or Postscript; basic HTML/CSS skills for email template editing.

  • Organizational Excellence: Strong project management skills; you’re disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.

  • Collaborative Approach: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; you’re as comfortable collaborating with internal teams as you are presenting to clients.

  • Ownership Mindset: Proactive, accountable, and committed to delivering excellent work with minimal supervision.

This is a full-time, fully remote position.
Compensation: $60,000–$70,000, depending on experience.
