Job description

Columbia University's Department of Medicine, Division of Preventive Medicine invites applications for a research position available to begin at the rank of Associate Research Scientist in one of our research units. Positions include both laboratory and translational research.




As an Associate Research Scientist, this appointment will be covered by a collective bargaining agreement between the University and Columbia Postdoctoral Workers-UAW Local 4100.


Minimum Qualifications: MD, PhD, or both. Candidate must have background in research specialty in the Department of Medicine.



Preferred Qualifications: Relevant experience in research unit and the ability to supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
