Qualifications

• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong hands-on mechanical, electrical, and laboratory skills, including the safe use of tools, instrumentation, and test equipment.
• Knowledge of combustion, flammability, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and experimental testing.
• Experience with battery testing or battery-safety research, including test setup and thermal/electrical measurements.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment, sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
• Collaborate with senior scientists to design, set up, execute, and document experiments involving materials, batteries, and robotics.
• Develop and maintain technical procedures, test plans, and laboratory documentation.
• Manage laboratory experiments and technical projects, including planning, coordination, scheduling, and communication of results.
• Develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain automated, robotic, and remotely operated testing systems and sensing platforms.
