Job summary

Frost, a Texas-based bank with a long-standing legacy, is seeking an Associate Relationship Manager II to foster lasting client relationships and manage portfolios. The role involves reviewing loan docs, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting commercial lenders with portfolio administration.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience as a financial analyst.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
• At least 6 hours of Accounting coursework or graduate level accounting credits.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review loan documentation prior to closing and flag deficiencies.
• Serve as the primary resource for an ARM I.
• Review credit facilities to ensure policy compliance.
• Advocate Frost’s values and provide excellent client service.
• Understand client needs by becoming familiar with their business.

Who you are:

As an Associate Relationship Manager II, it’s about creating and fostering long-term relationships. Through interactive training, mentoring from successful commercial lenders, and hands‑on administration of customer portfolios, you will achieve valuable analytical skills, sales experience, and an understanding of Frost’s relationship management process and culture. Our associate relationship managers are adaptable, inquisitive and strive to create and build relationships with our customers, that last a lifetime.

What you’ll do:

• Review loan documentation prior to closing and make appropriate parties aware of deficiencies and/or problems
• Act as the primary resource for an ARM I
• Review credit facilities (e.g., loans, lines of credit, etc.) where appropriate, ensuring compliance with bank policy
• Champion Frost’s philosophy and core values in the work you do by caring for your clients, having a willingness to do more than you’re asked because it’s the right thing to do, and doing so with excellence
• Become familiar with your clients and their business to understand and act on their needs
• Always taking action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all‑win outcomes

What you’ll need:

• 1+ years experience as a financial analyst
• Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance
• At least 6 hours of Accounting, or equivalent graduate level Accounting coursework
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Undergraduate or graduate course work emphasizing financial statement analysis
• 9+ hours of Accounting, including Intermediate Accounting I, or equivalent graduate level Accounting
