Position Title: Associate Relations Consultant Sr.

Job Description:

Associate Relations Consultant Sr.

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work. Alternate locations may be considered.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for associates and management on associate relations issues, including investigations, agency charges (EEO, DOL), employment litigation, associate complaints, performance management, coaching, development, attendance, and other issues.
  • Provide advice, guidance, coaching, and training to associates and managers based on policies and legal consultation, in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct investigations, manage witness lists, determine lines of questioning, analyze credibility, research related records, and maintain written records of investigations.
  • Debrief leaders at all levels and HRBPs on findings.
  • Oversee internal investigations of associate complaints and liaise with Legal on associate relations matters.
  • Partner with Ethics and Compliance on crossover investigations.
  • Collaborate with AR leadership and HRBP on transition agreements related to separations/terminations, utilizing persuasive communication skills with all levels of staff.
  • Develop and analyze trends in associate relations data to inform action plans.
Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree and at least 5 years of human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • HR designation (SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Associate Relations and investigations preferred.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HCM systems preferred.
  • Experience with ServiceNow preferred.
  • Experience in Fortune/large companies preferred.
Additional Details:

Salary range for candidates in Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York: $69,616 to $120,912. Elevance Health offers comprehensive benefits, incentive programs, stock purchase plans, 401(k), and more. The actual salary depends on various factors including location, experience, and education.

Work is hybrid, with at least one in-office day per week unless specified otherwise. COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations are required for certain roles.
