Job description

Associate Regional Director (ARD): Projects and Partnerships

This position will help to support our various projects and partnerships in East Asia and Oceania, focusing on networking, sustainability, new initiatives, and support of national entities, as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Program Support:

  • Develop, coordinate, and/or implement professional support for existing programs and TeachBeyond projects in the East Asia & Oceania Region.
  • Pray for the region, its projects, programs, members, and goals.
  • Monitor and lead Project Support Teams at TeachBeyond owned and operated projects in coordination with the Regional Vice President and Project Support Team Global Director.

Strategic Planning:

  • Work with the Regional Leadership team to brainstorm the strategic plan and major goals for the following year(s) for TeachBeyond projects and schools in the East Asia & Oceania Region.

Administration:

  • Participate in TeachBeyond leadership and inter-departmental meetings.
  • Liaise with project and services leaders to maximize quality of programs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Education; or related field of study; or equivalent professional career experience.
  • Proven leadership and administrative experience, with the ability to provide consultative guidance and cultivate available resources to respond to needs.
  • At least 2-years’ cross-cultural missions, preferably in areas related to existing TeachBeyond ministries.
  • Professional experience on staff in a faith-based non-profit organization, preferably within TeachBeyond.
  • Experience in school and program development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ideally coupled with additional language skills.

This opportunity is a remote and support-based position. Pay is based on the applicant's own ability to raise funds for their salary; paid via donor or self-support.
