Welcome to Alpine Intel, a leader in the property insurance intelligence industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Regional Consultant to join our growing team in Charlotte NC.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct and manage investigations involving commercial and industrial systems, including: responsible for the overall organization and execution of the project, ensuring the work is conducted with professionalism, quality, and integrity.
  • Utilize technical expertise for independent and collaborative analysis, guide the efforts of support colleagues, and ensure all findings are documented and delivered to the client.
  • Document findings internally and formally in a final deliverable report.
  • Manage the project timeline, documentation, budget preparation and adherence, and overall time management.
  • Interface and build relationships with clients, verbally and in writing, before, during, and after the project to ensure updates are delivered timely and expectations are met.
  • Manage vendors/subcontractors needed to complete the project.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to secure necessary materials and services as appropriate.
  • Conduct equipment troubleshooting and evaluation to determine repair/refurbish/replace determinations.
  • Establish the cause of equipment damage (e.g., water damage, lightning damage, power surge).
  • Address claims related to electronic equipment, including computer networks, medical technology, industrial machinery, telecommunications infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment.
  • May be asked to complete other work or projects for the company as determined by management.
  • Conduct desk reviews (QA/QC) of projects, including: reviewing documentation to determine alignment with claim type and whether analysis provided to the client is appropriate; determine if recommendations return equipment to pre-loss condition; ensure project deliverables are accurate and in line with project scope.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience evaluating failures in a commercial or industrial setting required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • 20% travel, occasional overnight travel required. Travel may increase depending on claim volume.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles beneficial.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Inquisitive by nature with a curious approach to work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and various environmental conditions.
  • Customer service mentality and accountability for following through on commitments with professionalism, quality, and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasionally required to stand for extended periods.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects weighing 25 - 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

  • Work may occur in an office environment or on client sites that may be industrial/manufacturing in nature.
