Job summary

Acushnet Company in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an Associate Research Engineer to help shape golf club performance through engineering, modeling, and data-driven design. You'll apply scientific methods and advanced computational tools to analyze designs and validate concepts for next-generation Titleist products.

You will partner with cross-functional teams across Research, Design, Product Development, Testing, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to translate technical findings into tangible product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in engineering analysis, problem-solving, and product development.
• Experience with MATLAB and/or Python required.
• Exposure to CAD modeling tools such as NX or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with simulation and FEA concepts; experience with LS-DYNA is a plus.
• Programming experience (C#, .NET, WPF, Angular, or object-oriented programming) preferred.
• Passion for golf and a strong understanding of the game, equipment, and player performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
