Acushnet Company seeks an Associate Research Engineer to advance golf club performance through engineering, analysis, and data-driven design. You will apply engineering principles and advanced computational tools to explore emerging technologies and analyze swing dynamics, validating concepts for next‑generation Titleist products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field required.
• Strong foundation in engineering analysis, problem-solving, and product development.
• Experience with MATLAB and/or Python required.
• Exposure to CAD modeling tools such as NX or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with simulation and FEA concepts; experience with LS-DYNA is a plus.
• Programming experience (C#, .NET, WPF, Angular, or object-oriented programming) preferred.
• Passion for golf and a strong understanding of the game, equipment, and player performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles, scientific methods, and computational tools to explore technologies and analyze golf club designs.
• Validate concepts that contribute to next‑generation Titleist products.
• Collaborate across Research, Design, Product Development, Testing, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing to translate findings into product improvements.
