Associate Quality Scientist - Microbiology

Join us as an Associate Quality Scientist - Microbiology at MilliporeSigma.

This role involves microbiology analysis including in-process, drug substance, raw material, and water sample endotoxin testing. Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining records in compliance with cGMP and company procedures.
2. Collaborating across departments to improve processes in an ICHQ7 environment.
3. Assisting with OOS/OOT investigations and root cause analysis.
4. Communicating effectively with production and lab personnel to ensure quality standards.
5. Updating relevant operational documentation.

This position is fully onsite and scheduled for second shift.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of QC lab experience, especially in endotoxin analysis (chromogenic, turbidimetric, gel-clot methods).
• Knowledge of scientific/regulatory principles, SOPs, cGMPs, GLP, GDP, and endotoxin testing.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory software.
• Experience with API, ICH Q7, 21CFR210, USP, EP pharmacopeia, and microbiological troubleshooting.
