Associate Quality Engineer - Therapy & Rehabilitation

Job Summary

Responsible for providing basic quality support to the Division including complaint investigation, resolution, and reporting. Assist with routine product evaluations, set basic quality standards for both in-process and finished product inspections, and support the QA team in product testing, documentation, and vendor qualification activities.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate customer/sales force complaints and ensure they are investigated accurately and closed promptly.
  • Issue replacements, credits, or RGAs as needed for complaint resolution. Notify sales reps/customers of investigation results.
  • Run complaint trend reports monthly or quarterly per SOP.
  • Coordinate stock checks and rework of products in response to complaints.
  • Identify actions to prevent further complaints and initiate corrective action reports with follow-up.
  • Perform inspections of new products or vendors at branches and factories.
  • Build product documentation (e.g., Device Master Records) in compliance with regulations to support Design Control and Risk Management.
  • Create and maintain inspection procedures.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or related technical field.
  • Experience in processing details, prioritizing, and drawing clear conclusions.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Problem-solving experience using systematic methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Up to 10% travel may be required.

Salary Range

$68,640.00 - $99,320.00 annually, depending on location, education, experience, and skills. Role is bonus/incentive eligible. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
