Job summary

Supply Technologies, a ParkOhio subsidiary, is hiring a Quality Engineer to assure product and process quality across operations. You will work with suppliers, production teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant products and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include quality inspections and audits, root-cause analysis, containment and rework, APQP participation, and maintaining ISO 9001/14001 documentation. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or 5+ years of quality experience.
• APQP and AIAG Core Tools knowledge.
• Experience using inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Proficient in 8D and 5 Why problem-solving methods.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and audits on materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and Supply Technologies teams to meet timing.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Oversee product containment and rework at customer and branch.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address non-conformances and improve quality.
• Maintain quality documentation and compliance records.
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality systems.
• Participate in APQP during new product launches.
• Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvements.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards.
• Assist in internal, customer, and supplier audits.

Job Summary:

This role helps ensure that products and processes meet quality standards across supply and manufacturing operations. The position supports the delivery of reliable, compliant products by working closely with suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders. This role contributes to continuous improvement byidentifyingquality issues, supporting investigations, and implementing corrective actions. It plays a key part inmaintainingcustomer satisfaction and driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Performs quality inspections and audits on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
• Effectively communicating with customers, suppliers, and employees of Supply Technologies, wheneverrequiredto meet customer timingunder the guidance of senior quality professionals.
• Leadroot cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions for quality issues using structured problem-solving methods.
• Oversee product containment and rework process at customer and branch.
• Collaborates with suppliers to address non-conformances and improve quality performance.
• Maintains and updates quality documentation, including procedures, reports, and compliance records.
• Provide visible, active support for the ISO9001, and the ISO 14001 Quality System, as applicable.
• Perform internal, customer and supplier audits
• Active participation in new product launches representing Quality as part of the APQP process, asrequired.
• Analyses quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and supports implementation of solutions.
• Works with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, engineering, supply chain) to ensure consistent quality standards.
• Participates in internal and external audits and supports regulatory and customer compliance requirements.

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline OR +5 years of relative quality experience.
• APQP and AIAG Core Tools knowledge.
• Experience in the use of basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Problem solving using 8D and 5 why methodology.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

• Ability to work under remote or offsite supervision.
• Worked under ISO 14001 and IATF-16949 management systems.
• Gage Calibration and Gage R&R software experience.

• Exposure to lean & Six Sigma.Quality management system or supplier process/product audit experience
