Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking an Associate Quality Control Technician in Salt Lake City, UT. This contract role supports quality control and quality assurance operations, including reviewing records and ensuring documentation practices are followed.

The candidate will work with engineers to collect data, evaluate QA results, and assist in developing methods and procedures for QA/QC activities. Minimum 2 years in QC/assurance with at least an HSD/AS degree is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of quality control/assurance experience.
• HSD or AS degree required.
• Experience with documentation practices and record review.
• Experience with the medical devices industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive paperwork and review for completeness; ensure good documentation practices.
• Review device history records; confirm records are current; contact supervisors for corrections.
• Escalate issues in a timely manner.
• Support quality control/assurance operations; work with engineers in QA procedures.
• Use data collection programs to evaluate QA/QC results.
• Assist in developing QA/QC methods and procedures.
• Work with engineers on conducting experiments.

Hours: Monday-Thursday from 5 am-3:30 PM

Type: Contract

Requirements:

• Controlled industry experience required (medical or food)
• Documentation practices, reviewing records.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience. Will consider candidates with more experience
• HSD or AS Degree
• Experience with performing quality inspections using a microscope is preferred.
• Experience in the medical devices industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Will receive paperwork and review for completeness, good documentation practices
• Parameters are listed in the device history records, records are current and may involve reaching out to supervisors to address corrections
• Escalate issues in a reasonable amount of time.
• Performs functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations, including working with engineers in quality assurance procedures related to production or operations.
• Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate data to assist in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes.
• Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures for quality assurance and control.
• Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
