Job description

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available. CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: No. CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret. TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time. LOCATION: On-site support required; candidate must be within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Quality Engineering support to programs within the Armament Systems Ammunition Operating Unit.
  • Work directly with Quality Engineers and Supply Chain to evaluate, approve, and accept incoming material.
  • Review raw material, chemicals, and/or finished product data to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations.
  • Perform audits of testing results to determine if product specifications are met and recommend non‑conformance corrective action where necessary.
  • Support Quality Engineers with data compilation, metrics reporting and creation of required technical documentation.
  • Engage with Quality Engineers, Production Engineers, Suppliers, and Customers as needed to improve data submittals. Provide limited production line support.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Ability to work independently or engage with a cross‑functional team as appropriate.
  • Ability to review large amounts of data every day.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • High attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GD&T.
  • Experience reviewing manufacturing data, specifications, and standards.
  • Experience creating and reviewing technical documents.
  • Experience working with a cross‑functional team.
Compensation & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $60,200.00 - $90,200.00. The above range is a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education and market conditions when determining offers. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and/or personal business.
