Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a 12-month contract Lab Technician to support GMP operations in our Rhode Island facility. You will perform microbiology and analytical testing, data management, and instrument operation in a team environment.

Under minimal supervision, you will produce accurate documentation, maintain equipment, and participate in investigations and audits while ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Science related background and lab experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; alternative combinations also listed.
• GMP/GDP/GLP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample collection and handling to support GMP operations and environmental/water monitoring.
• Perform testing and data review for compendia and non-compendia methods and routine lab procedures.
• Generate complete, accurate laboratory documentation using electronic systems and notebooks.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Assist in lab investigations and audits as needed.
• Maintain general lab housekeeping and keep training up to date.
• Comply with safety guidelines, cGMPs/CFRs and regulatory requirements.

This position will be responsible for one or more of the following activities:

• Perform sample collection and sample handling to support GMP operations and Environmental/Water monitoring.


• Perform testing and possible data review for compendia, non-compendia methods, and routine laboratory procedures.


• Generate complete, accurate, and concise laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.


• Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation.


• Participate in laboratory investigations and audits as necessary.


• Perform general laboratory housekeeping activities.


• Maintain training compliance and proficiency.


• At all times, comply with safety guidelines, cGMPs/CFRs and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Science related background, lab experience


• Bachelor’s degree, OR


• Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience, OR


• High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience

Top Must Have Skill Sets:

• GMP/GDP/GLP experience


• Laboratory experience in a regulated GMP laboratory


• Attention to detail

Note:

• Skills: Previous lab experience is preferred.


• Shift: Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue 6:45 AM- 5:15 PM. 10 hrs. shift
