Job summary

TERI is seeking a dedicated Associate Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional to manage a residential group home in Oceanside, CA. The role includes staff supervision, program delivery, and ensuring regulatory compliance while preparing to transition into the QIDP position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field.
• On-track candidates pursuing degree within 6 months considered.
• One year of related experience with developmental disabilities.
• Commitment to clients' rights, safety, and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care as needed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ensures Active Treatment program for each individual.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and agency policies.
• Evaluates effectiveness and participates in design of client programs.
• Coordinates ISPs and documentation (Skills Data Sheets, Quarterly Reports, ISPs, Assessments).
• Delivers program services per individual service plans.
• Reviews training programs and conducts ongoing staff training.
• Coordinates staff work schedules and weekend activities.
• Performs monthly chart audits and chart thinning.
• Oversees medical/dental care programs and coordinates with R.N. and medical staff.
• Distributes client medications and provides basic medical treatment.
