Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an Associate, QC Microbiology, Cell Therapy to join the QC Microbiology team at the Cell Therapy Facility (CTF) in Devens, MA. This role supports testing for in-process, final product, and stability samples, and contributes to environmental and facility monitoring.

The position involves shift coverage Sunday to Wednesday, 6am–4pm onsite, with responsibilities including data verification, document revision, and assistance with deviations and investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in science; associate degree with equivalent experience may be considered.
• 0-2+ years of related microbiological testing or QC experience in a regulated environment preferred.
• Experience with basic laboratory techniques and safety practices.
• Prior microbiological techniques experience is preferred.

Associate, QC Microbiology, Cell Therapy

We are seeking a Associate, QC Microbiology, Cell Therapy to join our QC Microbiology team at the Cell Therapy Facility (CTF) in Devens, MA. Responsible for supporting QC testing for in-process, final product, stability samples and for supporting environmental and facility monitoring. May assist with documentation, deviations, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts.

Shifts Available

Sunday – Wednesday, 6am – 4pm (A1 - position requires shift coverage consisting of weekdays, weekends, holidays and during adverse weather conditions), onsite

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing of in-process, final product, and stability samples.


• Perform environmental/facilities monitoring and microbiological testing.


• May review GMP documentation and perform data verification.


• Support document revision, project, CAPA and deviation/ investigation related tasks and/ or continuous improvement efforts.


• May train analysts on general job duties.


• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to accurately and completely understand and follow procedures.


• Apply scientific principles to QC testing and the proper use of laboratory equipment.


• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management regarding task completion, roadblocks, and needs.


• Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred in science. Associate degree with equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.


• 0-2+ years of relevant microbiological testing or QC experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a regulated environment.


• Demonstrated experience with basic laboratory techniques and basic laboratory safety practices.


• Prior experience with microbiological techniques is preferred.

Compensation Overview

Devens - MA - US: $36.90 - $44.71 per hour

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
