Job summary

AspenTech is seeking an Associate Manager to lead testing for our OT product suite, shaping test strategies and developing portable automation across API and UI layers. You will drive quality with R&D and Product Management, mentor engineers, and implement robust CI/CD driven verification in an agile environment.

You have 3–8 years of experience, a computer science or engineering degree, and a proven ability to lead technical teams while advancing testing best practices across Linux/Windows

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related technical field.
• 3-8 years of work experience in software quality engineering or testing leadership.
• Proven technical leadership experience with ability to lead planning and execution.
• Strong scripting skills (Python/Perl/Shell).
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (pytest, Playwright, Selenium).
• Experience with a source control system (Git, CVS, SVN).
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong manual and automated testing practices.
• Desire to automate, monitor and improve testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and execution of test strategies and test cases.
• Oversee test automation across API, UI, and non-functional tests.
• Guide CI/CD pipeline usage and maintenance of multiple test environments.
• Lead complex manual and automated testing activities.
• Mentor team members and provide performance feedback.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to drive quality improvements.
