Overview

The Associate Project Manager will support the execution of healthcare informatics projects, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and alignment with organizational goals. The role requires a detail-oriented, organized individual who can coordinate across teams, track project milestones, and ensure compliance with HCUS standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with HCUS MI engineers and other healthcare professionals to deliver solutions that improve healthcare outcomes through innovative informatics.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and managing HCUS projects from initiation to completion

  • Define project scope and objectives

  • Monitor and maintain detailed project schedules and track milestones to ensure timely progress

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders

  • Act as a liaison between internal HCUS teams and customers to clarify requirements and expectations

  • Prepare and distribute regular project updates, reports, and documentation

  • Facilitate meetings, including team check-ins and progress reviews, ensuring actionable outcomes for project completion

  • Identify potential risks and issues during project execution and assist in developing risk mitigation strategies

  • Comply with applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485, and other laws and standards

Physical requirements

The position requires the ability to perform the following physical demands:
