Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking an Associate Project Manager for Retail Construction in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports delivery of retail projects for a financial services client, leveraging strong organizational skills and project management expertise to drive success.

Responsibilities include budget and schedule oversight, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation, contract support, and rigorous documentation. On-site work with potential travel is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management or related roles within the real estate industry.

As an Associate Project Manager at JLL, you will hold a critical position within our Retail Construction Projects Team and will be directly responsible for supporting the delivery of challenging Retail projects for a financial services client. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management will be instrumental in driving project success.


What your day-to-day will look like:


  • Project Support: Assist the project manager in overseeing all aspects of project development and execution, including budget management, schedule adherence, and quality control.

  • Stakeholder management: Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Risk assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Compensation & Schedule:


  • 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

  • Time required entry

  • Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate for hours exceeding 40 per week, manager approval required


Required qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in project management or related roles within the real estate industry.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.

  • Knowledge of real estate industry best practices and construction processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience in managing small to medium-scale projects from initiation through completion.

  • Experience working with commercial real estate clients specifically within financial services.

  • Knowledge of construction processes and building codes

  • Proficiency in project management process, software, and tools


Location:

On-site 3 days a week. On-site -Allentown, PA, Newark, DE, Philadelphia, PA, Princeton, NJ, Trenton, NJ, Wilmington, DE
