About the Role

Associate Project Manager within the Retail Construction Projects Team at JLL, supporting the delivery of challenging Retail projects for a financial services client.

Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist the project manager in overseeing all aspects of project development and execution, including budget management, schedule adherence, and quality control.
  • Stakeholder management: Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Contract administration: Support in reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Project documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Financial management: Monitor project financial performance, track expenses, and maintain accurate project budget records.
  • Team support: Provide support to the project team by coordinating meetings, preparing presentations, and assisting with project-related tasks.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Hourly rate: $40.00 - $45.00, based on experience
  • 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Time required entry
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate for hours exceeding 40 per week, manager approval required
  • Estimated annual compensation: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management or related roles within the real estate industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of real estate industry best practices and construction processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel for project‑related meetings and site visits, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing small to medium‑scale projects from initiation through completion.
  • Experience working with commercial real estate clients specifically within financial services.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and building codes.
  • Proficiency in project management process, software, and tools.
