We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Associate Project Manager to help lead and manage the installation of high-tech operating room equipment, including surgical lights, tables, booms, and operating room integration systems. In this role, you will assist in managing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator with strong leadership skills, a growth mindset, and a proven ability to manage complex, cutting-edge initiatives. Applicants must reside in Phoenix and be able to travel throughout Arizona, Colorado & Utah.

What you will do:
  1. Contribute to the development of the project charter and/or develop sub-project charter and management plan. Recommend tradeoffs within project.
  2. Assist in defining and managing project scope; review with manager for approval. Outline major workstreams.
  3. Complete assigned tasks according to established timeline. Manage a sub-project timeline.
  4. Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish, monitor and maintain costs within budget.
  5. Partner with sub-project teams to establish project Quality Plans. Monitor and maintain plans.
  6. Create a risk register and management plan for the sub-project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop a risk response plan.
  7. Participate in the development of a Procurement Management Plan.
  8. Develop a sub-project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for each team member. Work with project or program manager to provide input to functional performance reviews.
  9. Create a Stakeholder register for the sub-project and assist in the preparation of a Stakeholder management plan.
  10. Support the development of a project communications management plan or develop a sub-project communications plan.
  11. Additional role-specific technical responsibilities may be added as deemed necessary by the local hiring manager.
  12. Gain stakeholder trust and maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, including development teams and sponsors.
  13. Stay calm under pressure and seek to add responsibility outside of core role where appropriate.
  14. Be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and accountable for meeting objectives.
  15. Drive results effectively.
  16. Communicate and present effectively, engaging diverse audiences and checking for understanding.
  17. Utilize networking to improve individual performance.
  18. Align goals with broader organizational objectives.

  24. Learn from mistakes and acquire new skills rapidly, demonstrating a growth mindset.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years of work experience
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
  • CAPM or equivalent certification
