Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC seeks an Associate Project Manager for electrical construction with nationwide travel. You will assist the Project Manager on large projects, coordinating with general contractors, subcontractors, and site staff across multiple locations.

The role emphasizes cost control, scheduling, and safety compliance while enabling growth through varied project exposure and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• 0–1 year of construction/project experience or knowledge of construction methods.
• Understanding of a project lifecycle and basic estimating concepts.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and team leadership are essential.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and potentially relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in total construction and design efforts to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate communication between internal and external project members.
• Assist with staffing decisions such as superintendents and foremen.
• Provide specialized estimating support for projects.
• Assist with purchase requisitions, approvals, and change orders.
• Support safety program implementation and OSHA compliance.

This is a site based role, supporting large projects across the USA.

About the Position

As an Associate Project Manager, you will assist the Project Manager in the overall administrative and technical direction for one large complex project or direct smaller size projects under the supervision of a Project Manager. Assistant Project Managers may have overall bottom-line responsibility for profit and loss, and consequently carry the authority appropriately, and will provide technical and engineering support as required by the project assigned.

Day in the Life

• Assist in the total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project. Including, but not limited to, General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen.
• Assist the Project Manager in the authorization and/or approval of all project staffing including, but not limited to, choice of superintendent, general foremen, and foremen.
• Perform specialized estimating and assists in estimating projects.
• Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change order requests.
• Assists in the implementation/interpretation of safety programs and ensures that all OSHA requirements are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 0-1 year of construction and/or project experience OR knowledge of construction methods.
• Project Managed training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle.
• Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Must be willing to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations.
• Experience with Accubid a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.

Travel

• Travel to project sites is required, which may include temporary relocation for the duration of the project.
