Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, OH is seeking a Project Manager to lead mid‑ to large‑scale infrastructure projects. You will use standard PM tools to control quality, schedule, and cost, mobilize resources across functions, and coordinate with order management, production, logistics, and field teams.

You will monitor budgets, escalate risks, and ensure safety culture on every project while delivering on time and within margins.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Use standard Project Management tools to conduct the project effectively, achieving quality, financial and schedule targets.
  • Leverage resources required to fulfill the project scope; work with all functional group leaders according to the project resource chart.
  • Coordinate with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups; escalate conflicts to protect the customer.
  • Work closely with jobsite and field resources to communicate the schedule, budget, and scope.
  • Escalate issues promptly and ensure timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
  • Follow reporting and tracking programs to keep the project on target for quality, schedule, and cost.
  • Understand financial performance on assigned projects; support cost budgeting, track spend, and maintain margins.
  • Proactively establish a culture of Safety for each project.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience. Critical infrastructure expertise with UPS, thermal, battery and monitoring are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing processes, data center infrastructure and commissioning processes is helpful.
