Job summary

CompuNet, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager for Cybersecurity to direct the delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, project goals, and CompuNet’s standards.

The role reports to the Senior Manager of Project Management and collaborates with Sales, Engineering, Service Portfolio, Partner Enablement, and Operations to ensure successful project outcomes. Opportunities for growth include promotion to Project Manager and specialization expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, information technology, or 4+ years of work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Project Coordinator, Associate Project Manager or similar role focused on customer service and the facilitation of customer outcomes.
• Experience with contract administration, invoicing, and general accounting practices (AP/AR).
• CAPM certification preferred or equivalent project management certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills by effectively coordinating and monitoring multiple projects across a diverse set of customers, industries, and geographies.
• Schedule internal and customer-facing project kickoff meetings; track scope, budget, forecasted and confirmed schedules, and status against a SOW or contract.
• Maintain steady communication with CompuNet teams and customers to ensure projects stay on track.
• Update project records in ConnectWise as projects progress and reconcile invoices for billing.
• Close project phases in ConnectWise as appropriate and conduct post-project reviews for continuous improvement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As demand for this role increases,opportunitiesforgrowth may includea promotion to Project Manageror expansion into otherspecializationsto meetcustomer demand.

Project Coordination

• Demonstratestrongorganizationalskillsby effectivelycoordinatingandmonitoringmultipleprojects acrossa diverse set ofcustomers, industries,and geographies.
• Complete recurring project coordination activities, includingthe abilityto:
• Scheduleinternalandcustomer-facingproject kickoff meetings.
• Trackprojectscope,budget,forecastedand confirmedschedules, andthestatus ofdeliverables(or outcomes)against a Statement or Work (SOW) or written contract.
• Maintain steady communication flowsandcollaboratewithCompuNetteams and customers to ensure projects stay on track.
• Communication flowsmay includeparticipationin status meetings,the development ofmeeting summaries orwrittenstatus reports,proactively communicatingrisks,etc.
• Update project records (data fields) in ConnectWise as projects progress.
• Reconcileandinitiatecustomerinvoices,for fullorprogressbilling,throughout the engagement. Close projectphasesin ConnectWiseasappropriate.
• Managecustomer-requestedchanges toaproject’sscope–facilitatingcompletion ofchange ordersasappropriate.
• Monitor customers’satisfaction. Escalateanyissues orearly warning signs of dissatisfactionto the Account Executiveand Service Delivery.
• Ensure predictable, consistent, and high-quality project deliveryin accordance withindustry best practices.
• Proactively engage withService Deliveryfor each region and their respective markets, providinghigh level updates on projectprogress,timeline,and issuesimpactingproject health.
• Collaborate with theCybersecurityProgram Lead on complex projects, helping expandportfolio capacity whilemaintainingconsistent coordination, communication, and delivery standards.

Contract Administration & Quality Control

• Track agreements throughout theescalationprocess, engageCybersecurityandRegional Leadership teamsto ensuretimelyresolutionand delivery.
• Ensure customer access to the document repository of in-progress and final deliverables.
• Facilitateaprocessthatconfirmsthecustomer’sacceptanceofany‘final’ deliverablesor outcomes.
• Prior toeachprojectclosing, audit the SOWandanysupplementaryagreementsorchange orders to ensure all deliverableshave been received, accepted by customer,and performance bymembers of the project teamfalls within defined parameters.
• Conduct post-project reviews andlessons learnedsessions to capture insights and improve project delivery processes.

Travel Expectations

• Occasional travel may berequiredtovisit project sites orCompuNetoffices.

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree ina business-related field, information technology,or 4+ years of work experience.
• Minimum of2years’ proven experience as aProject Coordinator,AssociateProjectManageror similar rolefocused on customer serviceandthe facilitation of customer outcomes.
• Experience with contract administration, invoicing, and general accounting practices (AP/AR).

Preferred Experience

• CertifiedAssociateinProject Management(CAPM)or equivalent project management certification.
• Career experiencetracking andmanagingprojectswith a duration of 3 to 12 months.
• Career experienceworking with information technologyroles andteams.
• Knowledge of vendor management practices, including the ability toenforce contracttermsandadherence toservice level agreements.
