Cumming Group in North Carolina is hiring an Associate Project Manager (Construction/Change Management) to support project management activities on client sites in the USA. The role emphasizes scheduling, contract compliance, and coordination with stakeholders to drive project success.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a related field and 3+ years in project management, engineering, or construction management.

Qualifications

BS degree in a related field is required or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret project documents including plans and specs.
Strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience supporting project scheduling, budgeting, and QA/QC processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Assist the project management team with scheduling, value engineering, and pay apps.
Support pre-bid activities, design and bid phase planning, and job start meetings.
Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to the Project Manager.
Facilitate field meetings, document minutes, and track approvals from agencies.
Perform QA/QC activities and review RFIs/Submittals for completeness.
Contribute to CPM scheduling and budget management, and maintain As Built drawings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist the project management team with various parts of the project such as constructability review, value engineering, pay app reviews, schedule development, FF&E program development and execution.
Assist in formulating the design, bid, and project phase of scheduling.
Assist in the Addenda and Bid process.
Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct pre-bid and job start meetings.
Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager.
Under the supervision of Project Manager, facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies are received and documented.
Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct close out activities and assist with building occupancy.
Prepares field reporting for review by Project Manager.
Perform QA/QC process.
Review change orders for completeness and conformance to company and client standards.
Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team.
Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management.
Review and maintain As Built drawings.
Other duties as assigned.
Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management

The salary range for this full-time role is $93,000.00-$124,000.02 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
