Associate Project Manager (Building Automation) - Automated Logic

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects following established processes, under the guidance of Sr. Project Managers when applicable.
• Complete projects within contractual requirements, budget, timeline, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Oversee financial aspects of projects including planning, billing, revenue forecasting, collections, and re-estimating costs.
• Manage scope delivery and secure change orders for scope expansion.
• Coordinate project materials and resources, identify constraints, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, oversee quality and schedule adherence, and document issues.

Essential Functions

Financial Management

• Analyze actual vs. estimated costs, identify variances, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain budget and control costs to ensure client satisfaction.
• Ensure positive cash flow through proper billing and follow-up.

Project Scheduling

• Plan manpower needs and resource allocation.
• Create and proactively manage schedules to meet contractual deadlines.

Subcontractor Management

• Conduct site visits for quality assurance.
• Provide installation guidance and schedule direction.
• Document issues related to subcontractor work.

Communication and Documentation

• Provide clear communication and documentation to clients and team members.
• Represent Automated Logic professionally in meetings and protect company interests.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in Construction, HVAC, or Building Automation.
• PMP Certification.
• Skills in risk management, project planning, estimation, and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
