Job summary

Holtec International in Orrville, Ohio, is seeking an Associate Project Manager to oversee the scope, quality, schedule and budget for assigned projects. You will support planning, decisions, and coordinate progress from contract release through completion, including regular reports to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree and relevant project leadership experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.

  • Support project planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and track movement of assigned projects from contract release to completion.
  • Preparation of and distribution of regular project progress reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure stakeholder review and buy-in of intermediate and final project deliverables.
  • Ensure Contract Administration on contract(s) as required, including proper close-out of projects as well as post-project critique and lessons learned.

Associate Project Manager

Location

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the detailed scope, quality, performance, schedule and budget of assigned project(s) in accordance with the Holtec procedures and standard practices.
  • Support project planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and track movement of assigned projects from contract release to completion.
  • Preparation of and distribution of regular project progress reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure stakeholder review and buy-in of intermediate and final project deliverables.
  • Ensure Contract Administration on contract(s) as required, including proper close-out of projects as well as post-project critique and lessons learned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Supervisory and/or project management experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to solve complex problems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
