Job summary

Carrier seeks an Associate Project Manager to oversee aspects of commercial installation projects in building solutions. You will work with subcontractors and cross-functional teams and manage smaller projects independently while assisting Project Manager(s) on larger initiatives.

This is a hybrid role servicing data center and major clients in Colorado and Wyoming, involving scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating materials to deliver on-time and within scope.

Qualifications

About This Role

ALC has an opportunity for an Associate Project Manager who will take responsibility for aspects of commercial installation projects in a building solutions environment. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with subcontractors & cross-functional teams and manage smaller projects independently whilst assisting Project Manager(s) on large projects.

This is a hybrid role and will be servicing data center and other projects of major clients in Colorado and Wyoming.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple projects along with the Project Managers i.e., follow project processes
• Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and customer satisfaction
• Assist with managing and tracking the overall financial performance of projects i.e., project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections, and re-estimating costs of installation projects
• Participate in the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders upon scope creep
• Coordinate project materials; use shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any problems
• Build relationships with sub-contractors, identify issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any matters

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience assisting and participating in projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• PMP certification
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Problem-solving, planning, and project management skills
• Ability to read and understand the scope of work and blueprints
• Knowledge of project financial reporting
• MS Office Suite
• English written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Building Automation, HVAC controls, or commercial construction

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $53,000.00 - $106,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

Other Compensation

Thisposition may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
