Job summary

Aspen Technology, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Engineer in Medina, Minnesota to design and deliver AspenTech’s control systems for real-time energy networks.

You will support customers, perform installations, and coordinate across teams to ensure reliable performance and satisfaction. You should have an engineering degree (EE/CE/Physics/Systems) with internship experience and fundamental programming knowledge, plus willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/Physics/Systems Eng and internship experience.
• Basic programming knowledge; introduction to C programming.
• Basic knowledge of computer architecture, networking, databases, and operating systems.
• Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites.
• Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
• Provide technical sales support of real-time control systems, including sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Define project requirements through customer communication and coordinate requirements with other departments.
• Provide networking and system/application design; perform hardware, software and system installation, integration, and testing.
• Customize system, hardware and network configuration based on customer requirements.
• Provide customer support and assist with training materials and project documentation.

This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
