Your impact

At Jacobs, we’re challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world’s most critical challenges across the built environment. Our Cities & Places team is seeking an Associate Project Architect to help deliver innovative, sustainable, and human-centered design solutions that shape communities and improve the way people live, work, and connect. As we continue to expand our architectural practice in the Boston market, we’re looking for a design-focused, technically minded architect ready to grow and make an impact.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including engineering, planning, and interiors to ensure coordinated, integrated design solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design workshops as needed.
  • Assist in developing design narratives, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Conduct product research and support material/finish selections.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and construction submittals during the construction administration phase.
  • Help maintain quality standards and support the execution of project goals, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement within the architectural team.

This role supports a diverse portfolio of projects, including large-scale urban and municipal developments.

This position requires an in-office presence in our Boston office two days per week. We welcome applications from candidates outside the Boston area who are able and willing to commute at their own expense.
