What You Will Do

As an Associate Program Manager in the Disney+ Business Program Management team, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of strategic initiatives across various divisions. Your focus will be on developing efficient, scalable, and flexible launch plans that facilitate successful product rollouts and sustained operations. Committed to the principle of "just enough" process rigor, you will ensure transparency in program progress, risks, and dependencies—striking a careful balance between enabling teams and delivering results. Your ability to foster collaboration through clear, inclusive, and frequent communication will be vital. Leveraging your exceptional analytical skills, strong business insights, and adeptness at managing multiple priorities, you will contribute significantly to achieving our strategic goals and driving business growth.

Key Collaboration
You will collaborate closely with the Disney Entertainment group, including teams across Technology, Content, Marketing, and various international business units. Under the guidance of LPMO Program leaders, you will coordinate the delivery of work segments across multiple functional workstreams, divisions, and launch initiatives. These launches will involve diverse geographic regions, strategic partnerships, marketing campaigns, and key product features. Your efforts will support multiple LPMO program leaders and may present opportunities to co-lead high-impact programs, fostering cross-team coordination and ensuring seamless execution.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning:Assist in developing detailed project plans that define scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and success metrics to ensure clear and achievable objectives.
  • Communication:Support the implementation of communication, monitoring, and control strategies to facilitate timely updates on project status, risks, and issues to business stakeholders.
  • Launch Operations:Contribute to launch management for marketing campaigns, new product features, and global expansion efforts, including coordinating localization, creative assets, and legal reviews.
  • Risk Management:Identify operational risks, issues, dependencies, and key decision points; escalate concerns promptly to ensure proactive mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Management:Establish and maintain effective communication channels to manage stakeholder expectations, align priorities, and foster strong collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Teamwork:Promote a collaborative team environment by influencing colleagues, supporting teamwork, and motivating cross-functional groups to achieve shared goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years in program and project management within a large corporate, direct-to-consumer streaming product business.
  • Teamwork:Proven experience as an effective member of collaborative, cross-functional teams, fostering strong partnerships and shared success.
  • Global Expertise:International experience preferred, demonstrating cultural awareness and adaptability in diverse markets.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency with tools such as Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides, Miro, Lucidchart, Confluence, Jira, Airtable, and Smartsheets to support effective project delivery.
  • Matrix Environment:Experience operating within large-scale program management and operations environments, managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Collaboration:Established track record working closely with technology and marketing teams to align strategies and execute projects.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $104,000 to $140,200 per year and in New York, NY is $109,500 to $146,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
