Job summary

Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies, LLC is seeking an entry-level Program Manager at KCNSC to perform routine project support within one or more programs. The role requires traveling up to 25% and the ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management.

You will assist in managing program elements, contribute to cost/schedule planning, and liaise with DOE and external partners. A strong attendance record and US citizenship are required.

Summary

Entry level position performing routine program management functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature and limited scope. Completes, with detailed instructions, assignments in support of one or more weapon, product/service, or reimbursable programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists in the program management activities to manage one or more moderate to significantly complex program elements .
• Provides input into the review and execution of innovative solutions to technical issues
• Participates in the development of cost and schedule framework for projects and program elements
• Participates in the establishment of production/project definitions, maintenance of schedules, and engineering releases associated with weapon or reimbursable programs
• Assists in the technical, administrative, and logistical liaison roles with company, Department of Energy, design agencies, laboratories, integrated contractors, and other government agencies for one or more program elements
• Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with other internal business units

You Must Have

• Bachelors Degree required
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
• United States Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
