The APD will perform all duties required of an APD as set forth in the ACGME Program Requirements for Graduate Medical Education in Internal Medicine including the following:
Graduate of an accredited Residency Program in Internal Medicine as well as respective Board Certification (or Board Eligibility as appropriate)
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain this prior to start date
Clear, unrestricted DEA
Minimum 3 years experience in a teaching or faculty capacity with a graduate medical education program
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials through the American Heart Association
Must comply with all ACGME core faculty requirements
3 years of successful academic experience in graduate medical education preferred
Educational and administrative experience
