55 Compass Connections seeks a compassionate Director to lead shelter services at our facility in Harlingen, Texas. You will oversee program delivery, staff supervision, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Requirements include a Bachelor's in education/psychology/sociology or related behavioral science with 5+ years in social services; fluency in English and Spanish; First aid/CPR; willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed.

Language Requirement: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm- On call as needed
Academic Req: Shelter Services APD: Required – Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science plus 5 years of progressive employment experience with a social services or childcare agency or organization.
Preferred – Graduate degree from accredited program/institution in a related field.
Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention
Work experience: Required – Four (4) years of related experience and/or training, including progressive supervision
